Norma Echarte has extensive experience in the areas of real estate, condominium law, insurance matters, general corporate practice and litigation.
In the real estate arena, Ms.Echarte has handled a wide-range of residential and commercial real estate matters, representing purchasers, sellers and lenders, real estate developers, and shopping center owners and managers. Norma has extensive experience drafting contracts, leases, commercial loan documents, easements, covenants and restrictions. She also focuses her practice in managing residential closings and in real estate litigation for major real estate developers, including the Related Group of Florida, Inc. and Levitt and Sons, LLC.
In addition to her real estate practices, Ms. Echarte will spend a considerable amount of time defending professionals in the real estate industry including, but not limited to, real estate attorneys, agents and brokers, officers and directors of real estate developers, architects, engineers and surveyors.
Ms. Echarte is a 1978 graduate of the University of Miami, where she received her Bachelor of Science in Finance and International Marketing. She received her Juris Doctorate also at the University of Miami in 1982.
Ms. Echarte is licensed to practice law in the States of Florida, and is admitted to practice before the United States District Courts for the Southern District of Florida.
Ms. Echarte was born in Las Villas, Cuba and is bilingual.
