Scott J. Welner is a 1998 graduate of the University of Florida, where he received his Bachelor of English degree, earning highest honors. He received his Juris Doctorate in 2001 from the Florida State University College of Law. He is admitted to the Bar of the State of Florida.  Mr. Welner has been admitted to practice before all Florida State Courts.

Prior to joining Shendell & Pollock, Mr. Welner spent over 5 years practicing insurance defense for the law firm of Conroy, Simberg, Ganon, Krevans, Abel, Lurvey, Morrow & Schefer in the employment practice arena. He  is now  continuing to focus in the employment practices arena as well, as in the defense of professionals, including attorneys, accountants, architects, engineers, directors and officers, brokers-dealers, real estate agents, title agents, insurance agents, and fiduciaries.

At Shendell & Pollock, Mr. Welner also deals with first and third party insurance coverage matters, in addition to practicing in the areas of complex commercial litigation and construction litigation.
